Pro tip: cross save between Switch and PS5 fixed my backlog problem

I finally got a PS5 last month but kept ignoring it because my 47 hour Switch save was on Zelda, so I set up cloud saves and now I play the same game on the couch and the big screen, has anyone else found that cross progression made them actually finish games they thought they'd abandoned?

Switching screens broke that mental link between save file and couch, so my brain stopped treating it like one long chore.
