My nephew's cross-platform crew fixed my 15 year grudge

I used to be a die hard Xbox guy and would trash talk PlayStation every chance I got. Last month my nephew invited me to his group chat where they play Fortnite and Rocket League across all three systems. At first I felt weird joining in, but after 2 weeks of nightly games I realized I was having more fun than I ever did arguing online. We even did a co-op run of Diablo IV where I was on my Series S and two of them were on PS5s. Has anyone else had their old console loyalty fade after playing with a mixed group?
