Co-op nights with my buddies shifted from frantic to chill somehow
Back in 2019 we'd scream at each other playing competitive shooters for hours, nobody left happy. Now my same friend group hops into Stardew Valley or a chill survival game every Friday night around 8pm. Last week we spent 90 minutes just organizing our farm sheds and discussing crop rotation. Nobody raged, nobody quit early. It's like we all aged 10 years in 5. Has anyone else's gaming group mellow out this hard?

Remember reading some study about how gamers shift from competitive to cooperative play as they get older, makes sense honestly. Our brains just stop getting the same kick from winning and start wanting the chill hangout vibe instead. Tbh the farm shed organizing sounds weirdly peaceful compared to the old rage fests, glad your group found that groove.
