Vent: I looked up the actual cost per screw and now I'm annoyed at myself

So I was doing an inventory of my service van last week, just counting fasteners and whatnot, and I decided to actually add up what I spend on random screws, standoffs, and jumpers per job. I figured it was like 50 cents or something, no big deal. Turns out, I've been averaging around $14 per repair call on small parts I never charge for, and I do like 15 calls a week. That's over $200 a month just disappearing because I tell people 'don't worry about the parts, it's just a screw.' I found this by scanning my receipts from the last 6 months at the local supply house in Akron. I mean, I get it, nickeling and diming customers is a bad look, but I had no idea it added up that fast. Am I the only one who just eats these costs without thinking? How do you guys track little parts without making the bill feel like a scam?
