PSA: label your spare PSUs before you lose track of which one killed a board
I pulled a mystery 500W unit off my shelf last Tuesday, hooked it to a test bench in the garage, and it spiked 14 volts on the 12V rail, which is exactly what happened to a client's board 8 months ago that I never figured out until now.
