I finally hit 1000 hours on my Fluke meter and the battery is still original
It's been my daily driver for three years across every repair bench I've used. Has anyone else had a tool last way longer than the specs said it would?

Meanwhile, my cheapo meter from the big box store gave up after like a month. (I guess you get what you pay for, haha.) That's some serious luck with that Fluke.

Yeah, that's the worst feeling. Throwing away a tool that barely lasted. Makes you wonder about all that electronic waste. My old boss had a Fluke that looked like it survived a war and still worked perfect. Some stuff is just built different.
