Hit 500 motherboard repairs, then a coffee spill changed my count

Passed 500 boards fixed at my shop in Austin last Tuesday. Felt good until a customer's travel mug dumped into a laptop I'd just closed up. That board was beyond saving, so technically I'm at 499 again. Anyone else keep a repair tally and hate losing one to something stupid like liquid damage?

Counted repairs is just a number for bragging rights. The coffee spill still counts as a learning moment, and that's worth more than the tally. Keep the real score, but don't let it eat at you.
