Shoutout to the comic shop owner in Austin who showed me how to bag and board faster

I used to spend like 10 minutes trying to get a single comic into a bag without creasing the cover. It was driving me crazy, especially on big pull days. Then last month I went to this shop called Austin Books and the owner saw me struggling. He grabbed a board, bent it into a little U shape, slid the comic right in, then pushed the board flat. I watched him do a whole stack of 30 comics in under 5 minutes. Now I use that trick every Wednesday and I can prep my pulls in 15 minutes flat. Has anyone else learned a simple shop trick that changed how you handle your collection?

My buddy Mike learned this trick from a guy at a con in Dallas. He said the guy used a old credit card to slide the bag open and guide the comic in without touching the cover. Changed his whole setup. He can bag and board his weekly pulls in under 10 minutes now. I tried it myself and it works way better than the U shape method.

Try the credit card trick with a stiff piece of cardboard if you don't have one. It saves so much time and avoids fingerprints on the covers.
