Remember when comic book fans actually talked to each other in stores?
Back in 2007, I had this one Wednesday at my local shop where me and three strangers spent an hour debating if Civil War was actually good or just a mess. We didn't have phones out, we just stood there holding floppies and arguing like it mattered. Now I walk in and everyone's staring at their screens, maybe grunting a hello. Does anyone else miss that weird community feeling of just shooting the breeze with random fans over a new issue?

That hits hard, man. I remember those days too. Standing around the spinner racks or the counter, just talking about whatever arc was dropping that week. Now it's all silent and quick, like people are just grabbing their pull list and bouncing. You miss that accidental connection with strangers over something you all clearly care about. It was a real thing, and it's a bummer watching it fade away.
