Met a guy at the con last month who collects only variant covers from 1992
He had a whole binder just for the hologram covers from that year, said he's been at it since college. Showed me a 'Ghost Rider' #28 he found in a $5 bin that's worth way more now. Anyone else focus on a super specific thing like that?

Ever feel like your own collection got too broad? I started with just X-Men but ended up with boxes of stuff I don't even like. That guy's focus is smart.

Try selling the extras to fund your real passion.

Wait, hologram covers from 1992 specifically? That's wild... I didn't know anyone actually kept a theme that tight. And he pulled that Ghost Rider from a $5 bin? That's insane luck, those hologram issues are getting harder to find in decent shape now. @jesse_barnes37 you're totally right about focus though, I see so many people drowning in random longboxes from flea market hauls they barely remember buying. This guy probably actually knows every single book he owns and why he wanted it. Makes me want to go dig through my own stuff and pare it down to something that actually means something instead of just having piles of floppies I grabbed on a whim.
