Last Saturday at my local shop in Cleveland cost me $85 and I'm still heated about it
So my pull list got messed up last week, and I mean badly. I drove 25 minutes to my shop because their site showed a copy of a variant I'd been waiting on since March, only to get there and the guy behind the counter says the website is "always a little off" and they never got it in. Fine, whatever, I grabbed a couple back issues to make the trip worth it. Then I get home and two of them had water damage along the bottom edge, like someone sponged a spill and just shoved them back in the bin. I called and the owner basically said no refunds on back stock, but he'd knock 10 percent off next visit. Ten percent. I've been buying from them for almost 4 years and it felt like he was doing me a favor. Now I'm looking at driving out to the shop in Lakewood instead, which adds 15 minutes each way. Does anyone else have a store that treats the website like it's just decoration, or is that a me problem?
