TIL my academic advisor was right about taking the 8am stats class
My advisor told me back in July to take the 8am section of stats instead of the 2pm one, and I argued with her for like 20 minutes because I hate mornings. She said the afternoon section fills up with athletes and slackers who talk through lecture, and I figured she was just being dramatic. Three weeks in and I've switched to her 8am section, because my 2pm class had a guy watching YouTube without headphones and the prof just ignored it. Anyone else notice the afternoon sections of big lecture classes are always way louder?
