Why does nobody talk about learning Python with a physical notebook? It worked for me after 3 failed online courses
Tbh I tried every tutorial out there for like 6 months. Codecademy, freeCodeCamp, YouTube binge sessions, all of it. My brain just refused to hold onto anything past the first 30 minutes. Then my buddy at work who codes said "write it down like you're taking bar orders" and I thought he was joking. Started keeping a cheap spiral notebook, writing every concept out by hand, drawing little flowcharts with arrows, even wrote fake error messages and traced where they came from. After 2 weeks things started clicking. The physical act of writing somehow forces my brain to actually process it. Has anyone else found a weird non-digital method that finally made coding stick? I feel like I'm the only beginner who needed to step away from the screen to learn the screen stuff.
