Unpopular opinion: I thought nested loops were useless until a parking lot program changed my mind
I kept skipping the nested loop chapter in my Python course because I thought "when am I ever gonna need a loop inside a loop" and moved on. Last week a guy at the Austin library coding meetup asked me to print a 5x5 grid of spots for a fake parking lot and I froze for like 10 minutes before he showed me it was just two for loops, one inside the other. What beginner concept did you write off as pointless until some random project humbled you?
