TIL I was copying my code by hand into a new file instead of just saving a copy, wasted 4 hours on a Tuesday

wasted 4 hours on a Tuesday" hurts to read, but hey we've all been there in some form. My buddy did the same thing but with his resume, typed the whole thing out again instead of copy paste, then saved over the old one. Three hours gone and he lost the good version too.
