Just realized those 'don't memorize, just Google it' people might be wrong about syntax
For 6 months I laughed off a coworker in Denver who said I should drill array methods until they stick, and then last week I spent 40 minutes hunting a bug that was just a missing map index bracket. Now I'm torn on whether grinding syntax by hand is a waste of time or actually the whole point, since the lookup version cost me way more than the practice would have.
