PSA: I finally counted my setups and 41 tool changes a day was my breaking point
I run a Haas VF2 at a small shop in Toledo and got curious last Tuesday, so I actually tallied every tool change on my shift. Came out to 41 of them, and I lost close to 50 minutes just watching the carousel spin. Moved four of my most used tools into the side mount holders and got that number down to 26, which bought me almost half an hour of real cutting time. Anybody else track their tool change count, or am I the only nerd with a notepad on the bench?
