Watched a guy in Portland fix a bike chain with a shoelace, now I carry one on every ride
He was stuck outside a food cart pod on Alberta St with a snapped chain and no tools, and a stranger just handed him a lace and showed him how to loop it. Does anyone else keep random stuff like that in their bag for emergencies, or is it just me overthinking it?
