The city council meeting in Boulder last month flipped how I think about my own carbon footprint
I went to a Boulder city council meeting about a new bike lane plan and a guy stood up and said he sold his second car after riding the lane for 6 months. Now I'm stuck between two views: is personal change like that what really moves the needle, or is it just a drop in the bucket next to what big industry does? Half the room clapped for him and the other half said it was a distraction from holding companies accountable. Where do you all land on this, individual habits or pressuring the big players?
