PSA: Last Tuesday we pulled 14 bushels off one Victorian in Providence, a record for our little two-man outfit
House had sat unserved since the 90s, and the old owner burned green wood for decades. We ran the rotary up first and it clogged twice before we even hit the smoke shelf, so we dropped to hand rods and a 10 inch brush. The homeowner stood in the driveway with a mug and kept saying she had no idea so much could come out of one flue. Ended up dumping the shop vac three times and I still had soot in my ears at dinner. What is the biggest single-flue haul you folks have logged, and did you switch tools partway through like we did?
