PSA: The $5 chicken shawarma at Al's cart on 9th beat the $16 shawarma plate at that new spot on Grand

I hit both spots last week because I wanted to settle this for good. The sit-down place on Grand charges $16, gives you a small plate, and the chicken was dry both times I tried it (once at lunch, once on a Friday night). Al's cart by the hardware store on 9th is $5, piles on the pickled turnips, and the guy drizzles the garlic sauce right when you order so nothing gets soggy. Anyone else got a cart that humbles the fancy spots in their town?
