That $30 used power supply from a flea market lasted a whole 3 days
Bought a 600W unit off a guy in Austin for thirty bucks, plugged it into my old gaming rig, and it smoked out on Tuesday night mid-match. I know buying used PSUs is a gamble, but has anyone actually found a reliable cheap source for these things, or is new always the only move?
