Warning: a 22-year installer told me to stop kicking my carpet back into place
He watched me at a rental in Gary and said my knee kicker was doing all my work, then showed me how stretching with a power stretcher from the far wall first got rid of the ripples I kept chasing, so now I only use the kicker for tight corners and closets.
