TIL why my seams were splitting after 6 months

I kept getting callbacks on seams separating in hallways, figured it was bad glue or traffic. Turns out I wasn't waiting long enough for the adhesive to tack up before rolling the seam. Has anyone else had a problem with rushing the tack time on busy household areas?

Might be you're using too much heat on the roller too.

@charlie_fisher45 that's a good point about the heat. I started using a cooler roller and giving the adhesive a full 10 minutes to tack up before rolling, and my seams haven't split since.
