The tiny door gap that made a 2,000 square foot job take 3 extra hours
Last Tuesday in Austin I had this new build where every interior door had a quarter inch of gap at the bottom, so the carpet edge kept curling up under the slab. I had to pull back 14 rooms and re-tack every strip, then shim the doors just to get a clean finish. Has anyone else dealt with builders who claim their framing is level but clearly never used a laser?
