Ramset nailer failure at a new build in Fresno changed my setup

I was on a job last month in Fresno doing a commercial hallway, and my old Ramset kept double firing. It blew a nail sideways through the concrete and almost hit my helper in the leg. That was the moment I stopped using the cheap powder loads and switched to a red charge for anything over 3/8 inch pad. It slows me down a bit but saves the headache of a callback or worse. Has anyone else had a close call with a nailer that made them change their load selection or tool completely?
