Job in a rich neighborhood made me dump my old seam roller

I was doing a 5000 square foot house in Pacific Palisades and the homeowner kept watching me work. He pointed out my roller was leaving slight marks on the backing. Switched to a 3 inch heavy duty roller with replaceable heads and never looked back. Any of you guys using cheap rollers still or am I overthinking this?

That cheap roller probably works fine for most jobs though.

Stop thinking that cheap roller is fine. It's not just about the job looking good on a big house. That homeowner was right to call me out. The little marks add up and ruin the finish on nice paper. You wouldn't use a dull knife to cut a steak, right?
