I finally checked the wear on a 5 year old berber and the traffic lane was only worn 1/16 of an inch

Pulled a sample from under the couch in the same room for comparison and the pile height matched almost perfect, so all that foot traffic barely touched it. Any of you ever actually measure wear depth on a callback instead of just guessing it needs replaced?
