The 15-minute rule I use before saying yes to any job offer

I started forcing myself to wait 15 minutes after reading an offer email before replying, and it stopped me from accepting a $62k role in Austin that would have meant a 2 hour commute, has anyone else tried delaying their response to avoid a bad call?
