Can we talk about how my 6-month review got pushed to 9 months and nobody told me
Asked my manager in March for a review date and he said 'sometime in April.' It's now July 15th and I only found out last Friday when HR sent a calendar invite with the wrong job title on it. Turns out the whole team's reviews got lumped into one big cycle and mine got skipped because my manager quit in May and nobody picked up his stuff. So now I'm sitting here with 9 months of work and no paper trail, wondering if I should just start sending him a weekly summary email so there's a record. Has anyone dealt with a missing manager during review season? What did you actually do besides wait?
