Update: I thought the old trick with a hairdryer on stuck lens barrels was junk
Had a Minolta X-700 with a 50mm f/1.7 that wouldn't budge. A guy at the shop in Tacoma said to heat the barrel with a hairdryer for 30 seconds, then try. Figured it would wreck the lube. Tried it, and it twisted right off with gentle pressure. Anyone else have a go-to method for this that works better?
