PSA: cleaning the focus ring on an old Nikkor took me 4 hours because of one tiny hidden screw

I figured it would be a quick wipe down but that screw was under the rubber grip and I spent 45 minutes hunting for it. Has anyone else run into a lens where the obvious access point was hiding something dumb?
