Walked into the Best Buy on 82nd in Portland and their whole display wall was zip tied to one power strip
I counted 14 TVs on that one strip and it made my own mess at home feel okay by comparison. Anyone else spot a store setup that made you feel better about your own cable pile?
Saw a pic online once of a Walmart display where someone had daisy chained like six power strips off one outlet to run a whole row of demo laptops. Pretty sure that setup would trip a breaker in about two seconds if every screen lit up at once. My cable pile at home is bad but at least nothing is about to catch fire. Stores really do just hide the chaos behind a wall and hope nobody looks down.
