Swore by velcro wraps for 2 years until my cat yanked one loose at 3am in Tulsa
Bought a $7 pack of adhesive zip tie mounts after the velcro let go and dumped my router, modem, and a lamp cord onto the floor, and not a single wire has moved since, so now I wanna know if anyone else made this switch or if I just got lucky with the cheap mounts.

Oh man, hate to say it but zip tie mounts aren't really "cheap and lucky" so much as they're just built for exactly this. The adhesive actually cures stronger over a few days, so that router wasn't going anywhere even on day one.
