Saw a guy at a Kansas City hardware store pay $2 for a bag of clips and I changed my mind on staples
I was in the aisle at a Kansas City hardware store last week when a guy told his kid to grab the cheap screw-on clips instead of a stapler for his desk wires. He said staples keep cutting the cable jacket when you pull a cord sideways, and I had been stapling my router lines to the baseboard for 4 months, so I checked mine when I got home and found 3 tiny gouges in the outer sheath. Is there a trick to hiding wires along baseboards without making holes or pinching the ones that need to flex?
