Did you try the paste wax trick on the ball bearings? A lot of guys skip that part and just oil them. The wax fills in the tiny gaps in the metal so they glide smooth for months without sticking. I started doing that after a cabinetmaker showed me and it made a huge difference on heavy drawers. Just make sure to use a hard paste wax, not spray stuff. It lasts way longer and keeps dust from gumming everything up.
