Down my street, every kitchen redo wants cabinets without handles
Last month, three people I work for asked for cabinets with no visible hardware. They all want that smooth, modern look that is big right now. I had to figure out new ways to attach the doors so they open easy. It takes more time to build, but they are okay with the cost. Seeing this shift has me thinking about how local styles evolve.

My kitchen from five years ago had big, bulky handles on every cabinet. After helping with a few of these smooth installs, I realized how much cleaner the space feels. Now I see why people are willing to pay extra for that clean modern look.

Forget the smooth look, it's just a fingerprint magnet showroom trend. @patj30 those old handles might look bulky but at least you can actually open the cabinets with greasy hands.
