Blew $180 on a cheap panel jig that couldn't hold a 3/4 sheet straight
Picked up one of those $180 panel cutting jigs online thinking it would save me setup time on a set of birch uppers, but it flexed so bad on the first rip that the edge wandered almost 1/8 inch over 4 feet. Ended up squaring everything by hand anyway, so now it's just leaning in the corner collecting sawdust. Anybody got a jig setup that actually keeps a full sheet tight, or am I better off just building my own guide rail?
