Read that the average phone charger only lasts about 18 months, which explains a lot
Saw a breakdown from a repair site last week that said most people go through a charger every year and a half, and I've burned through 3 since last summer alone. Mine always die at the strain relief near the plug, right where it bends. Does anyone actually get years out of one, or is that just a myth at this point?
