Pro tip: stop yanking cords out by the cable, my last one died in 3 weeks
I killed three USB-C cords in two months, all cheap ones from a gas station near my place in Reno. Then a guy at a repair shop watched me unplug my laptop and just said "grab the plug, not the wire." I started doing that and my current cord has lasted 8 months. Do you pull the cord or the plug end? I wanna know if I'm the only one who was doing this wrong for so long.

Pulling from the wire is fine if the plug is in there solid, people just baby their cords for no reason. Gas station cords die because they're junk, not because of how you yank them.
