Ngl, the $8 gas station cable outlasted my $25 braided one by like a year
Bought a cheap 6 foot cable at a Love's outside Waco in a pinch and it's still going strong after 14 months, while the fancy braided one I paid $25 for died in 3. The cheap one just has thicker strain relief where it meets the plug. Has anyone else noticed the price tag has nothing to do with how long these things last?
Wasted so much money on fancy cables thinking they'd last longer, and here you are proving me wrong with a gas station special. My track record with expensive ones is so bad that I should probably just start shopping at Love's. Guess the thick strain relief is doing all the real work.
