My power bank fried three cords before I learned the real issue
Honestly, I kept buying cheap replacements and blaming the cables themselves. Last month in Austin, I went through a 6-pack from the gas station and every single one stopped charging after a few days. Turned out my 20,000mAh power bank was pushing out voltage spikes when it got low. I grabbed a multimeter and watched it jump from 5V to 9V randomly. Now I only use cables rated for 100W and check the bank's health first, has anyone else had a battery pack do that to their cords?
