Pro tip: that $15 flex tape patch on my dishwasher hose lasted 3 days and flooded the kitchen
My buddy said skip the real fix and just wrap the leak with flex tape, but it peeled off and dumped water all over the floor in Indy. I had to pull up 40 square feet of soaked laminate, so now I'm telling people to replace the hose for $12 instead. Has anyone else had a quick fix cost way more than the actual repair?
Ha, flex tape is for gutter leaks and infomercials, not a hose under pressure. That $12 hose was always the fix, the tape just cost you a floor on top of it.
