PSA: heard a guy at a Portland coffee shop say his business wifi was 'fine' right before a $1,400 card reader fail
I was sitting next to this guy last week who runs a food truck and he told his buddy he never bothered upgrading his router because the free one from the ISP "does the job." Two days later his card reader dropped mid lunch rush and he lost about $1,400 in sales plus a ton of angry customers who walked off. How many of you are running that same free ISP box for taking payments?

Swapped my ISP box for a cheap mesh router and never dropped a payment since.
