Update: I went with dot grid over lined for my first bujo and here's what happened
Six months ago I stood in the aisle at a shop in Grand Rapids holding two notebooks and could not decide. The lined one was $8 cheaper and felt safe, but the dot grid had those faint dots everyone online seems to love. I picked the dot grid and honestly it was the right call for me. The dots let me draw my weekly boxes freehand without lines fighting me, and my habit tracker is actually straight for once. Last month I counted 14 pages where I mixed a list and a little chart on the same page, which would have looked awful on ruled paper. If you skipped dot grid because it felt too loose, what made you switch or did you stick with lines?
