My Sister's Advice About Page Numbers Fixed My Whole Setup

My sister Sarah told me to stop numbering my monthly spreads in order. She said to skip around and label each page with just the month and year instead. I tried it for my September 2023 layout and suddenly spreads feel way less cramped. Has anybody else found a better way to handle indexing in their journal?

Wait people are really stressing about page numbers in a journal? It's a notebook not a tax return.
