Brought my bullet journal to a coffee shop in Portland and noticed something weird
I was sitting there at this place called Proud Mary last Saturday, trying to plan out my week with my usual rapid logging setup. This guy next to me was using a spiral notebook with zero structure, just scribbling everything in a mess, and he seemed way more relaxed than me obsessing over my dutch doors and future log. Has anyone else noticed that bullet journaling can sometimes make you feel like you're doing too much instead of actually getting stuff done?

Dude, you had a dutch door setup at Proud Mary? That place is like the epicenter of the whole Portland coffee scene. I can totally picture you with your color coded key and all these sections while some guy just goes full chaos mode in a spiral notebook. But wait, you're saying he was the one who looked relaxed? Like he was just sipping his latte and jotting down grocery lists while you were probably flipping through future logs for next March? That's wild. I think bullet journaling can definitely turn into a performance thing instead of a productivity thing. You end up spending more time making the thing pretty than actually doing the things. Maybe that dude was onto something with his zero structure vibe.

Nah, the structure is what makes it actually useful though.
