Blew $60 on a fancy grid ruler and sticker pack at the Chicago pen show

I drove up to the Chicago pen show in March and dropped $60 on a metal grid ruler plus a foil sticker pack for my bujo layouts. The ruler's edge is so thick it smears my ink when I line it up on the page, and half the stickers were sized for A5 when I use a B6. The vendor's booth was gone by Sunday so I couldn't even swap anything. Anyone got a cheap thin ruler that actually sits flat on the paper?
