Was sure the $25 foam mounting pads were a scam, then my GPU sag got so bad the card tilted in the slot

Measured 8mm of droop after 6 months in my mesh case, stuck two pads under the bracket and it's dead level a year later. Anyone got a case where sag came back anyway, or is this actually a permanent fix?
