Tried mounting my GPU vertically with a $40 riser cable and my temps went up 8 degrees
Everyone says vertical mounts are just for looks but I figured it would help since my card was blowing hot air right at the chipset. Nope, the fans were basically choking against the side panel and my hotspot hit 103C in Cyberpunk. Ended up going back to standard mount with a $12 anti sag bracket, has anyone actually made vertical work in a mid tower without cutting the case?
